Respect for Dr. Richard Van Gurp as a leader in the profession began in dental school as he was one of a very select group of students selected to membership into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Dental Honor Fraternity, an honor awarded to those dental students who have distinguished themselves by excellence in scholarship, while demonstrating exemplary traits of character and potential qualities for future professional growth and attainments.

For over twenty years, Dr. Richard Van Gurp has established himself as a well-respected dentist in his community.  He has shared his knowledge by lecturing to other dentists on the technology he uses in his office.  He serves as a consultant to national and international dental companies regarding new product development.  He has been interviewed on television and has been published in a highly respected dental journal.
